Anybody have personal experience with the combo?

I specifically want to know how accurate autofocus is with this combo. Not speed, just accuracy.

I have heard mixed things about 3rd party lenses autofocus accuracy. Some have said the issue was only with DSLR's, and when used on a mirrorless body the AF is far superior.

I used this lens a few years ago with a 5D Mark 3, but now I shoot with R bodies and I am looking to pick this lens up.

I've used this combo a ton, and it is accurate!
Switch the focus square to small (in R menu) and finding birds to branches and leaves is awesome

Thank you for the input! This confirms my thoughts.

Now, if someone has a used but mint condition 150-600mm Sigma for sale at a great price, let me know. And I'll buy it ASAP.

I see it is on sale right now at B&H for $899 with No sales tax and free shipping!......So I will wait over the weekend for any used offers, if not, I will order a new one on Monday from B&H
