Two singing songbirds. The Painted Bunting is from the Wichita Mountains NWR in SW Oklahoma and is published as two-page spread in the current issue of Oklahoma Today magazine.

The Meadowlark was at the Tallgrass Prairie Preserve in Pawhuska, Oklahoma. In fact that is the entrance sign he is perched on. He's doing greeter duty - and he took his job seriously.
