Yeah, it's an optical illusion caused by the slanted side.

Yeppers, sure is!!

Arthur Ravenel Jr. Bridge, also known as the Ravenel Bridge and the Cooper River Bridge. Connects Charleston to Mt Pleasant (the side I was on when I took this image). I may (or might not) have exceed the posted speed limit to get to the park to take the photo before the color was completely gone. It was a little better a few minutes earlier sadly, but over all not bad considering.

Roosevelt Bridge over Lake Texoma, Oklahoma. A cold front had just hit, I drove down south of the bridge to get this. Might as well be black and white, not much color here.

I was in the area and thought that a sunset shot might be nice.

This is an oldie from 2012. The shot is underexposed by 1 stop, I was going to do an HDR but thought that this turned out more dramatic. The bridge is the A. Murray McKay in Halifax Nova Scotia.

The skies were very dark and heavy as if it was going to rain, there was no sun at all when there was suddenly a break in the clouds causing the most dramatic lighting. I happened to be driving across the other Halifax bridge at this time and once across quickly made my way down to the waterfront to get this shot.

This is only a crappy Iphone picture, I wish I had a real camera when I happened upon this scene in London. But you use what you have with you I suppose.

Minimal post processing obviously.
