There was a beaver dam on the side closer to the mountain that was quite large. I'm not sure if that has enough effect on the water level or not.

The rope was keeping me from getting any closer to the lake. So if I can't shoot right next to the water then I'm not gonna clean up. Lol.

We had such a big snow year that I think (I don't know this for certain though) there was an avalanche or two that came down the side of Pyramid Peak (left side of this photo) and dropped some debris in the lake, that might be the pile of crud out there in the middle of the lake. I wonder if that also upset the lake level.

I realized after writing the above that this internet thing has a search feature, so I checked and yes, there was an avalanche that disrupted things.
