Jumping Spider. This guy was tiny, only about 5mm from leg tip to leg tip. Shot with a 35mm f/2 AIS Nikkor reversed. This image is 11 images photostacked in Photoshop.

I was picking American Beauty Berries yesterday to make jelly. Of the tons of other bugs and spiders in the bowl of berries this one really stood out. Don’t bother looking for a spider in the second picture, that’s just if you’re not familiar with the plant. Jelly did not jell, so I’ve got a sweet syrup. May try to reheat and add more pectin.
