I am running Photoshop CC 20.0.6 with Adobe Camera Raw 11.4. I like use Camera Raw more than Lightroom as it's controls, though essentially the same, are MUCH faster than with Lightroom. I'm using an iMac and OSX Catalina.

I have an issue that I just noticed though.

The radial filter ONLY affects adjustments OUTSIDE of the radial circle, regardless what I have set in Camera Raw... Outside or Inside. When I do anything to the radial filter, the selection will always move from INSIDE to OUTSIDE and I have to move it back to INSIDE, though again, it ONLY affects outside the circle.

I tried resetting the Camera Raw Preferences, no go. This affects both raw files, and even jpgs when using the camera raw filter inside of Photoshop.

Example of lowering the exposure to affect INSIDE the circle....

Edit: It seems using the keyboard shortcut, X, to switch from outside/inside works. But the actual buttons in Camera Raw do not.

Odd I can't duplicate the problem (running 11.4.1) so may be Mac only - I'm on Win.

I'm using a Mac and the buttons work for me.

High Sierra on iMac works properly. Catalina on Macbook Air has the same issue. I'll report that bug.

Thanks DP!

I reported it but apparently that was already done. Maybe they will fix it twice as fast.
