I just went up the Canyon yesterday for the first time this year. I was hoping for some head-butting action but, alas there wasn't much going on.

It seems like the head butting peaked last week. The herd seems to have broken up into small groups

On Monday my friend saw 60 sheep together, and on Tuesday I saw about 40 that were together all day. . I don't know if those numbers are what you would consider "broken, small groups", but they seem like pretty good herd numbers to me.

"Your" and "you're" are different words with completely different meanings - please use the correct one.
"They're", "their", and "there" are different words with completely different meanings - please use the correct one.
"Fare" and "fair" are different words with completely different meanings - please use the correct one. The proper expression is "moot point", NOT "mute point".

The majority were right at the 1 mile-ish mark where the pipe goes over the trail. There were a good 40-50 there all separated into smallish groups. That's the first time I've ever seen that many down that close to the parking lot. I've spotted a few here and there in that area over the years but it was pretty crazy how many were there.

A week ago Thursday there were a large group of 30 or more at about the 1 mile mark. This past Thursday there were 3 separate groups of approximately 7-10 each spread out in different areas. Except for the two rams pictured above the rams seemed to be keep their distance from each other. One regular visitor to the canyon says the two above are brothers and are often seen together.
