Check the thread at
https://photography-on-the.net …showthread.php?p=18952294 and specifically my reply (#3) as there is a substantial rebate good until the end of the year.

A few questions to help us help you :)

What's your printer budget?
What's the largest print you want to be able to print?

I have a Canon PRO-1. It's good, but it's not the cheapest, nor smallest, around. Prints on up to A3+.

Even on the new link I provided?

I just logged off POTN, went back in and it works for me, both on a iPad and Dell laptop.

If you are still having issues go to https://www.usa.canon.com …/products/promotions-home (external link)

Then on the right side of the screen download the rebate where it says "Get up to a $350 Mail-in-Rebate when you purchase a Canon PIXMA PRO Printer."

It works if I copy an paste outside of this site. Clicking the link shows request denied. Thanks a lot!

Might be an issue with your PC and security settings. As I mentioned I didn't have any issues with old thread or new thread both on an iPad and Dell laptop.

How much do you want to spend? What size prints do you want to print? Go to this link and with your answers and you should get some good answers to your original question:

Another vote for the Pro 100;

Check the thread at

Through rebates, I've amassed three of these, one at home, one at work, and one donated to my wife's school.
All are running flawlessly.

Also, in the end, if you shop the sales, all you will ever need to "buy" for these "free" printers is ink. You can get reams of free paper with the sales too.

Are there better printers? Sure, but none with the bargain bang for your buck that we get with the Pro 100. And my own experience with Canon inkjets has them on tops for reliability over Epson, HP etc. I still have the great grandfather of this printer I purchased in 2003, and I can't kill it no matter how hard I try.

Another vote for the Canon Pro 100. Once nice thing about Canon's is that they are very resistant to nozzle clogging. Unlike Epson (my history).

I currently use the Canon Photo paper plus semi gloss. It often comes bundled with the Canon Pro 100 and it is good paper. I used to use some Red River semi gloss paper.

I had a Pixma Pro 9000 before the 100. I bought the 100 because it was practically free after rebate. I also figured the light grey inks in the 100 would be more useful than the red and green of the 9000.
