Bought this as a second body having used for a month now its still a great camera love the quality of the raw files Paid $235 with 8 thousand clicks not even run in!

$235 is a score for a 1d iii. it is still better than eighty percent of the cameras today that sell for ten times the price.

Canon 1D Mark 3, 10.1 MP resolution image such as from the 1D 3 is better than a 6 or 8 MP image. But not as good as 12.8 image, unless there is a difference in per pixel quality.

a bargain, but with no way to verify shutter count, i would take that figure of 8000 with a grain of salt
