I have just acquired a brand new 7D Mark II and noticed a strange behaviour that I hadn't seen on any Canon camera that I owned: when turning the rear wheel (the big one in the back) the sound of the click does not always sound the same, sometimes the sound of the clicks gets louder. It may seem a silly thing but since I can return the camera I was wondering if this kind of behaviour can be considered normal (the way the wheel is designed is different than other Canon models) . The functioning of the wheel is anyway fine.

I am including a small videoclip.

Thanks

I've only owned the one Canon camera(7D2) with a rear wheel so I have nothing to compare mine to. I have not noticed any irregular noises from my current camera's rear wheel.

Ps: can't open your video

I have two 7D cameras. The rear dial feels significantly different between the two.

No, but they feel completely different when you rotate the dials. They sound just slightly different.
