Do photo editing software makers have Black Friday sales? On another site there is some talk about DXO having a 50% off BF sale.

I've seen several for the Adobe stuff and also for the new Luminar. I have not seen Capture One yet though.

Isn't LR/PS used to be much cheaper. I remember paying $75/yr. Have the prices gone up? Mine is expiring next month and even though I have bought C1, I haven't made the move so worried what should I do.

It's not "Black Friday" until Friday.

Photography stuff has typically been trending toward the best sales before black Friday.

I remember 3 years ago Dell and Lenovo had some killer deals a few days before BF.

And let's not forget Cyber Monday.

All Affinity software is 30% off. So $35 for Affinity Photo. Excellent software for an unbelievable price.

Does Affinity handle catalogs/albums? I toured the website and checked out the long list of capabilities - did not see any references to file catalog handling.

I'm still running LR6 and looking ahead to eventually having to convert. Adobe CC subscription is a non-starter for me, as a hobbyist I don't have enough time to use even a slice of its potential so I'm unwilling to pay a monthly/annual bill.

25% off all LibRaw products. I love FastRawViewer for culling.

I use Affinity Photo in place of Photoshop. It does not have catalogs or albums at this time.
