Wow ... Fishing to me was solitude and being with nature. Quite rivers with not another person in sight. Or small hill lochs that you hike to, fish and eat your catch before heading home.

That pic was taken during the famous green drake hatch. It always draws big crowds but usually they all catch big fish on dry flies. Other times of the year you can almost have the place to yourself. This river is the reason I moved here over 40 years ago. I avoid the crowds and still enjoy it. I consider the Henry's Fork to be the best dry fly stream in the country.

A big hatch like that. We used t have huge May Fly hatches but not as much any more.

Thanks for the explanation and if you photoshopped out all but 1 person, it is certainly a different feel. And I can see why you moved.
