This week's challenge is: Single Object
I would like to see how folks would make a single object stand out in a photo, without all the distractions to lead our eye away .... Be creative!
The challenge begins when posted and will end on Friday, December 6th, 2019 at midnight GMT. The winner will be announced shortly after. THE DEALINE HAS BEEN EXTENDED BECAUSE WE GOT OFF TO A VERY LATE START, HOPEFULLY, THE NEXT CHALLENGE SHOULD BE IN LINE WITH THE MONDAY DEADLINE

CHALLENGE RULES:

1. Camera: Any DIGITAL CAMERA is allowed, (not just DSLR).
2. Time: Any on-topic photo taken at any time is eligible, although photos that have won other competitions should NOT be entered.
3. Size: See standard P.O.T.N. Image Posting Rules.
4. Post Processing: Do whatever you like and the host will decide if it works.
5. Posting: ONE PHOTO per photographer in each challenge.
6. Details: Show camera model & lens used. Post brief EXIF data including ISO, shutter speed and aperture used.
7. Commenting: Please, NO COMMENTING DURING CHALLENGE. Feel free to comment in this thread after a winner is declared.
8. Content: Keep it clean, and both Family and Work safe.

10.Have FUN!*
THE WINNER ALWAYS SETS THE THEME FOR THE NEXT CHALLENGE, POSTS IT AND JUDGES IT - BE PREPARED! A new challenge should be posted ASAP after you have been declared the winner.

"Your" and "you're" are different words with completely different meanings - please use the correct one.
"They're", "their", and "there" are different words with completely different meanings - please use the correct one.

Thank you all for your entries!
Sorry I don't have time to comment as I'm leaving for work, but I enjoyed them all.
I was having a heck of a time deciding and then, Tom Reichner posted his "Pintail Drake"...

Tom, your image takes the honors!
Second place to Lesley.
Hye5 with the HM.

Thanks again for participating everyone. Take it away Tom:lol:

Thanks for the honor, Ed.

I enjoyed the entries this week. . Don's passed-out-drunk minstrel cracked me up!

I'll get a new challenge up today.

My initial thinking is that it would be best to return things to the regular Monday deadline, but I thought it'd be best to seek other's thoughts on this, as I want to get us on whatever schedule works best for the most participants.

Makes sense. If you post a challenge today or tomorrow, you can still call it for 12/16 and BAM! we're back on schedule. :p:lol:
