I've seen a number of good reviews of the Sigma 17-50mm f/2.8 EX DC OS HSM.
It's reasonably priced and seems like a good replacement for the Canon 18-55mm STM on my new Canon 80D.
Does anyone have any comments based on personal experience?

I did own one that was acquired when I first got my 60D (2011?). It was a great lens but when I also acquired an 80D a few years ago, I moved to the 17-70 ART with the dock so I could tweak the lens to match both bodies. Although not as fast I can use a bit higher ISO to make up the difference when needed and I got a bit more reach which I find useful.

I have to say that Adorama has a rather attractive price on the 17-50. See https://www.adorama.com/sg1750eosk.html

Dec 14, 2019 02:13 | #8 I ordered this lens this morning and should have it tomorrow or Monday, in more than enough time for my trip to Chiraq.

Dec 17, 2019 16:38 | #10 I've had mine for a few years, decent lens/sharpness just average.OK for a lower megapixel camera I wouldn't use it on the new 32mp camera's. 6D|7D|7DMKII|Nikon D750|Nikon 85 F1.8|Nikon D5500|G15| Gripped|300F4|35F2IS|85 F1.8|135L F2|200L F2.8|17-55 F2.8|70-200L F2.8 MKII|430EX|
