The Metz 54MZ-4 is the equivalent to the Canon 580EX, with only a tiny bit less power (GN131 vs. GN135 at 50mm ISO100), which means the difference of f/13.1 vs. f/13.5 at 10'!)
Comes with softcase and flash, and PDF of user guide. $110 postage paid in continental US. Gently handled, and little used (spare flash)

This flash comes with a Metz SCA 3102 module which makes it fully compatible with Canon dSLR, but with the change of the SCA module, it can used with MOST ANY brand of camera! I have used this Metz with all of these:

  • Olympus OM-4,
  • Bronica ETRSi,
  • Canon 20D and 30D and 40D, and 7DII.
