So the top 2 brands are now Canon and Sony? Nikon sales have been on a steady decline?

I missed it, where in the article does it speak to market share? Looking at the numbers it looks consistent to CIPA data which is showing that the dSLR market in total is down about 38% from sales last year which in an of it self was a horrible year.

Not sure why, but call me JJ.
I used to hate math but then I realised decimals have a point.

This is what happens when corporate fat cats think they know better than the consumers buying the products

Non dual card mirrloless bodies and ignoring consumers demands for camera technology means Canon is next

I dont feel sorry for Nikon and npw Canon one bit

This seems very short sided. You do realize your opinion of cameras is very marginal? The reason Canon and Sony can survive fluctuations in consumer camera sales is that they're diversified. Nikon is less so: their profits are going down because overall DSLR sales are going down and most don't like their mirrorless offerings (even the Nikon shooters I've heard from). Though I've also recently seen posts from you extolling how great Canon is with their option of mirrorless vs high end DSLR now with the 1 DX3...

Canon 5D mk IV
EF 135mm 2.0L, EF 70-200mm 2.8L IS II, EF 24-70 2.8L II, EF 50mm 1.4, EF 100mm 2.8L Macro, EF 16-35mm 4L IS, Sigma 150-600mm C, 580EX, 600EX-RT, MeFoto Globetrotter tripod, grips, Black Rapid RS-7, CAMS plate and strap system, Lowepro Flipside 500 AW, and a few other things...
