Jan 06, 2020 16:31 | #4 I shot with one for years - its a great camera. I moved on to a 1Dx and just recently bought a 1Dx II but I shot thousands of photographs with the 1Ds MkII. You'll grow to love the feel of that big body in your hands. Image hosted by forum (1019453) © karrera [SHARE LINK] THIS IS A LOW QUALITY PREVIEW. Please log in to see the good quality stuff. It’s been pretty cold 26 and below here in Montana. Nice shots have not had a chance to shoot outside

I had a 1Dsii about 3 years ago. Also had a camcorder and was equally into video so sold the lot including my 24-70L and 580exii flash and bough ta Sony A7Sii for the best of both worlds. But as of last week, guess what I've done? Bought another 1Dsii, 24-70L and 580exii flash! My Sony gear is up for sale. Don't get me wrong, the A7Sii is a special camera, particularly on the video side of things. But the 1Dsii is something else when it comes to stills. Never got over selling it and feel complete again now this brick is back in my hands. Clearly my muscles have wasted whilst I've owned the Sony..... Mark

Clearly becoming a rare breed. I shall try and post some pics after some outings with the beast. Not having it in my hands for a few years has led me to forget the shear weight with the 24-70 and flash on top. But I feel like a "real man" again now Mark

Jan 17, 2020 07:23 | #10 I have been working long hours. Weather just drop -20. As soon as I get a chance I will use it. Camera is big does not bother me one bit. Same size as my canon 1RS. I also own a Sony A7Riii. Makes it look very small.
