This is one of several vintage lenses I bought this autumn, the Zeiss Jena Sonnar 2.8. I often use our little people when a new lens or camera arrives. At 7 feet away, the depth of field is very slim even @ f/16. Looking forward to people soon, but this was an interesting practice. My first impression is that even though the lens isn't as sharp as some of the sharpest of recent years, the photos from this Zeiss appear more "life like" than maybe every other lens I own. The color seems near perfect. I slightly vignetted, but no color correction or contrast.
