Going to visit a local botanical center and have never been to one before. Thinking of a general lens like the Canon 17-55 EF-S f2.8 would be the most versatile. Anyone have other suggestions?

sapearl Cream of the Crop More info | Nice shots. A macro is always nice if you have one as well as an UWA which can allow you to experiment with interesting angles and points of view that people sometimes overlook. GEAR LIST
