Hey I tried searching for this but wasn't able to get anything based on my keywords. Perhaps my keywords were wrong?

It takes a few minutes for the search index to update. Try it now, it works fine.

At 92 posts, you'll be "member" unless the Title Fairy calls you something else. Titles based on post count run from Hatchling to Cream of the Crop.

If you are trying to change where it says "member" under your name, you are not able to change that. It changes with post counts, or if you happen to run into the nefarious Title Fairy, who might change it to something you said in a post, like "on the happy gas". Be careful what you wish for! :-)

*OhLook beat me to it!!!*

I think you will find this thread very interesting:

https://photography-on-the.net …/showthread.php?t=1015367

The subject of what it says in that title area - where yours says "MEMBER" - is actually one of the things that makes POTN so interesting. . The Title Fairy is quite a character, using your own words and turning them against you (all in good fun) when she gives you a custom title.

You don't really get to choose what it says - the Title Fairy comes up with the title for you. . As you can see, I haven't fared so well  .. But I wouldn't change it even if I could, because it's what the Title Fairy gave me, and her workmanship is perfect!

.

"Your" and "you're" are different words with completely different meanings - please use the correct one.
"They're", "their", and "there" are different words with completely different meanings - please use the correct one.
"Fare" and "fair" are different words with completely different meanings - please use the correct one. The proper expression is "moot point", NOT "mute point".

I'm not too happy with "Spiderwoman," but you get what you get. I think that title was bestowed by a Deputy Title Fairy, since retired, because I posted a photo of a spider.

I believe you are right, because the real Title Fairy usually only takes words that you have actually written yourself when giving you a new title. . So, unless you actually wrote the word "Spiderwoman", it is extremely unlikely that the real Title Fairy gave you that title.

I really love the whole title thing here on POTN. . The only real problem with it is that once a title is changed, there is no record anywhere of the user's previous title(s). . So if I want to know what Chet's title was back in 2012, or 2014, or 2017, I have no idea how to find that information.

So if you want a record of all the titles that the Title Fairy has given various users over the years, the only way I know how to do it is to keep an extensive collection of screenshots that have a time and date stamp. . I have hundreds of such screenshots in my archives, because I want to know each user's title history.

There have been so many creative, even genius, titles over the years!

Makes me wonder then. Jon Blake got a title consisting of words that I wrote to HIM.

Yes, that type of outlier is why I used the qualifying word, "usually" in my post.

That's correct, I didn't write the word, and a deputy fairy was spraying title dust around at the time.

It sounds fierce, insidious, forbidding, predatory–in other words, evil. I actually like spiders, but they have a bad reputation.

And she has no known postal or electronic address.

Spiderman is not bad, why would Spiderwoman be bad?

You can always go to the The Mediocre TITLE FAIRY thread and start spouting off stupid things. One is bound to stick.

OhLook Spiders do a remarkable job in this world and they can be (are mostly) very undervalued.
A few have given the spider kingdom a bad reputation.
They can keep things in balance and I sense you have that uncanny and enabling ability to do just that. For those that want to allow the privilege of receiving such.
Wear that badge (Monica) proudly :-)
