I like spiders too. We keep several as pets in the corners of the ceilings.

Hmmm: my bride and I recently celebrated our 50th anniversary. Perhaps I should petition the Title Fairy for an update. I remain, alas, only partially housebroken.

Ms. Look, you know about these things - how do you formally address a Title Fairy? I'm thinking maybe "Your Grace"...

OhLook Spiders do a remarkable job in this world and they can be (are mostly) very undervalued.
A few have given the spider kingdom a bad reputation.
They can keep things in balance and I sense you have that uncanny and enabling ability to do just that. . . .
Wear that badge (Monica) proudly :-)

Thank you. Who's Monica, a patron saint of arachnids?

A few species are dangerous to humans, but spiders in general make many people uncomfortable, up to the point of outright phobia, apart from realistic reasons.

ARACHNOPHOBE ALERT
A spider photo is below. Tune out now if you wish to avoid it.

From what I've seen, the safest way to address the Title Fairy is not to.

Oh dear! moniker My goof - predictive text at its best and lack of scrutiny at its worst!!!!
And - that is a beautiful spider.
Many abhor snakes and I respect them - both the snakes and those that oppose them, but here our deadliest in the world snakes are only a threat if we threaten them.
Beautiful creatures.
But I agree on the spiders. They get in places they shouldn't and then can be rather a nuisance.

You can always go to the The Mediocre TITLE FAIRY thread and start spouting off stupid things. One is bound to stick.

JJ is it possible you can also get a new title spouting off things here too?

probably too late for that...

some fairly old canon camera stuff, canon lenses, Manfrotto "thingy", and an M5, also an M6 that has had a 720nm filter bolted onto the sensor:

The TF seems to be everywhere and you never know when you will get hit. Lately she/he seems to be tired.

Not sure why, but call me JJ.
I used to hate math but then I realised decimals have a point.

She has revived. I got a new one too! Thank you, TF.

I wonder whether I might put in a word for those who remain less fortunate, the carpet-piddlers and such . . .

I see!

For posterity's sake, here's what your title looked like before the update:

These legacy titles need to be preserved somehow, somewhere, other than in member's personal archives.

.

"Your" and "you're" are different words with completely different meanings - please use the correct one.
"They're", "their", and "there" are different words with completely different meanings - please use the correct one.
"Fare" and "fair" are different words with completely different meanings - please use the correct one. The proper expression is "moot point", NOT "mute point".
