The choices were filthy; we didn't stay more than one night and we got outta there after the first night. Most other local options were filthy; we sauntered into the next townships for a respite from the filth. That reminds me of a pub (hotel) we booked into once when staying away from head office.

KingKenny Goldmember More info | As you say, France is more interesting the further south you go. Around our part of Normandy it is all WW2 and D Day. Our town of La Haye du Puits was destroyed in the fighting and subsequently rebuild. "I don't Know where I am but I'm having a lovely time."
