My wife and I went out exploring in Redstone, NH.
Redstone was once a thriving hub for all things granite in NH.
There is an abandoned quarry in the hills of Redstone. This building housed the giant lathe that turned huge granite columns.

Another smaller lathe. It must have been some undertaking in it's time.
Here is one of the pulleys that drove the massive leather belts.
