Roland is quite unique as it sits out from all the other mountains and just dominates the landscape. The view to it changes considerably. That one is from west. All others I've taken are from north as is our view from home. Yeah if you can do Hood River valley @ sunrise in the month of early April, you'll get the pear orchards blooming. You have to be there for the first few hours of the day as it's south facing and the haze will make it impossible. Polarizing filter is a must.
