Thank you!!! Appreciate the positive feedback as I was being tough on myself for not getting this photo from the left side of the arch.

This is a good example to keep in mind for future shoots; this is a wonderful image *because* you didn't shoot from the left, where *everyone* else shoots from. Because of that, we get to see some additional, great detail of that area that isn't normally captured and shown; and, you have your own, more personal photo from being there. :)

Don't beat yourself up

Excellent perspective, and appreciate the sentiment. Thank you!

Definitely a great tip to keep in mind for future.

When I was there in October, someone was posted up for hours in the spot I wanted to shoot from. Sometimes we just have to get creative! I got a few wide angles up under then stepped back with my 70-200 and those were the shots I loved the most.

Cheers! :) One other point that has helped me, numerous times and that I try to share/impress on folks; turn around. Once you've got a few shots you're happy with, particularly when dealing with sunrises/sunsets, look behind you once in a while. There's a very good chance that something is also going on that way that is worth capturing.

Keep up the shooting and share the results :)
