you've captured that very well.
it's rugged and that in itself adds challenges with light, shadows textures etc varying so much

Thanks. It's such a huge vista I struggled a bit to figure out what to focus on. A good problem to have.

Dandelion leaves are probably edible to sheep and cattle, we can eat them. Some farms in New Jersey grow them for salad. I've seen bears eating them, too.

Yes, realise it's edible, and like docks. Some loath the stuff.
Salad adornment here too.

Dandelion presence is apparently an indication of soil fertility.
Low fertility, high dandelion infestation.
I'd imagine it would suppress grasses and thus hay for baling.

The parrots and parakeets love them and are comical to watch
