Thanks. I have a photographic thing for gnarly looking trees. Supposedly there are bristlecone pines up there, but not sure, maybe just twisted up pine trees, whichever, pretty cool scene. Other places I know of, like Mt. Goliath up near where Edward was, and a few trees near Alma, are less accessible in the winter.

BTW, I said it was absurdly windy, this is why, a very short video of the weather near Alice and St. Mary's a couple of days ago. I'm no video guy I should add.

From Death Valley last month. Rains over night and through the morning meant there were puddles and ponds to work some reflections into the otherwise barren desert landscape.

Nice shot! Like the reflection of the sky from the pond. Is it near devil's golf course? I went there couple of times in winter, never saw water pond other than these greenish ones near the badwater basin.
