Looking over the edge at Horseshoe Bend in Page, AZ. If you look closely, you can see three boats in the water. Two of them are maneuvering around the bend and the other parked at the top portion of the bottom of the curve. Probably gonna need to click for an enlargement as scale is everything. Here at Horseshoe Bend, the Colorado River created a roughly 1,000 ft deep, 270º horseshoe-shaped bend in Glen Canyon. An amazing display of what nature can do.

Those boats really give some scale to the place. I've seen lots of photos from there but now understand just how big that bend is.

Still waiting for the wisdom they promised would be worth getting old for.

May not meet the thread criteria but since there's grass and mist in the frame it's landscape, right?

Yeah, it's quite the sight. Looks great in 9x63 binocular. If the weather cooperates I might try capturing subs and stacking them. Capturing the ion tail would make a more interesting image.

Thanks! It's a retrograde comet discovered in March by the NEOWISE space telescope. Naked eye, it's barely visible ~40km outside our city. It's detectable using averted vision (looking slightly right or left of the comet, not directly at it).

Looks good in binoculars or a small telescope.

Not sure how long it's going to remain bright. Read a report that it's starting to fade.

You did a grand job of finding this comet with your Canon 70-200 @ 135mm!! It looks huge in your photo as you already know!
