I took 3 exposures for this shot but ended up only blending 2 as the result from 3 was really awful. I have used Nik Efex Merge to HDR Efex Pro. To be honest all the presets don't look that natural to me. This was prob the most natural. I took quite a few photos like like this (3 exposures) but have struggled to blend them into something good which is annoying as it was a stunning looking morning to my eyes.

Any advice on blending exposures would be gratefully received.

Nice work. Looks good to me. Personally, I'd probably have it a bit darker but that's just us as individuals.

Thank you Lee. It is great to hear it doesn't look awful. Hard to judge your own processing some times especially when it ventures into HDR territory

Did you try just fooling around with one shot? Lot of latitude in raw files these days. Either raising the shadows in the darker photo, or lowering highlights and brightness in the sky of the brighter photo? Can't really tell if you would have lost any detail in the sky of the brighter photo. Anyway, your finished photo looks good.

Thanks Patrick. Yes I did have a go with just one photo at a time but it just didn't seem to get me any decent results. Happy the combo is getting good feedback tho.

I like the result well enough, have you considered blending manually, that one doesn't look like it would be all that hard to blend manually.

Very appealing shot! I love the way you captured the sunlight shinning between the two trees.

Thank you. My post processing skills are not great so I tend to go for button click solutions rather than magic wands and adjustment layers but I think I should give it a try as it would be a great skill to improve.

Thank you! It was tricky to line it up.
