I have a copy of Lightroom 5 that was on a desk top that crashed, and I never really got started with it. Can I reload this to a new laptop and start from scratch or is it too outdated to use ?

Jan 04, 2020 17:25 | #2 As of right now, it looks like the most up to date version of Lightroom 5 is 5.7.1. The software should still work but you may run into issues with support for the latest camera bodies and lenses.

You need to give me OK to edit your image and repost! Keep POTN alive and well with member support https://photography-on-the.net/forum/donate.php

You will have to contact them by phone or chat and provide a serial number. They will then provide a URL to download 5.7.1. Elie / אלי

digitalparadise Awaiting the title ferry... More info | Jan 05, 2020 11:40 | #8 One thing I dislike about Adobe is they tend to try and convince you to upgrade to subscription. Adobe will give it to you but it you have any issues ask here in the LR 1-6 forum. They have access to this stuff and can help you out. Image Editing OK
