Which bracket doesn’t fit? Are u referring to the Arca Swiss camera plate?

It's the Pro-Media Gear two piece L bracket arca swiss.

Not speaking for Jake but the RRS L Bracket does not fit either, the base of the camera is larger so I will assume not of the brackets will fit like they should. If the Arca Swiss plate does not wrap the base then it should fit.

I had the same problem with the RSS bracket. The new contours just don't fit anymore.

I've been in touch with RSS and they have not yet planned on a 1Dx III bracket. They are waiting for demand to justify the R&D.

So call them and tell them you need one! :D

I knew I had read it here somewhere... thanks guys.

How ridiculous that RRS is cooling it's heals. As if they aren't going to make one eventually, get with the program! The one that makes it first will corner the market. (not that I would buy RRS anyway at this stage)
Looks like Kirk already has the placeholder for theirs,. so they might be first again;

I agree that they should have tried to get in gear fast.

I'm a fan of their gear and they are fairly close to me (right down the coast - a casual 3 hour drive on a great driving road!) so maybe I'll offer them a test mule. :D

Replying to myself... Looks like RRS moved out of CA to Utah. Smart for them, but not going to help me any. ;)

So the RTFM retort is somewhat analogous to saying to someone, "Go read War and Peace" :p

Has anyone else tried claiming the Sandisk card reader via Canon Europe? The leaflet which came with the camera directed me to www.canon-europe.com/cfexpress (external link) The only result from this is 'Page not found'. A search of the Canon website gives no relevant results either. It says on the leaflet that the card reader should be claimable from 14th February???

Weird.

Weird.

Is English still the first language in that manual?

I just checked with Pro Media Gear and it looks like the camera plate for the 1DX Mark III will be available in 3 to 4 weeks. They told me the universal camera plate should work in the interim with all my attachments.
