Wow, you just got the 2, now straight to the 3.

I am surprised to see price here in Oz is not too bad.
B & H price is AU$9533 with 64GB card.
Pre-order available here for $11200 with 2 x 512GB cards!
Canon Australia recently announced 5 year warranty (all bodies and lenses)

Seriously, I've barely even had time to test it out. :) Baaad. Hey, it was my Wife's idea!!!!

From the still of that video, it looks like these Ambassadors had the conversation back in 1972?!

See those cropped images in the video, they look amazing. Makes me wonder if 100 percent cropped images from mkII and mkIII, under exact conditions, would the mkIII retain better IQ?

He sees an improvement in AF performance when lenses and extenders are used together on the mkIII.
This camera is getting more and more interesting.

When you see my camera gear you'll think I'm a pro.
When you see my photos you'll know that I'm not.

EVERYBODY should go to 4:40 and remember....you did not hear it from pete :p

A pro mirrorless is on the table for 2020- Count on it

Really think Im gonna wait and see what canon does before I would even consider this 1Dx3

Due to the new low pass filter I would say yes as far as retaining better IQ over the 1dxII. If they improved the extender performance then wowza, my 400mm 2.8 with the 2x is already amazing with the 1dx II. Really looking forward to giving it a try.

It would really shock me if it is this year for the Pro version. I think the Pro version will be outstanding, I guess 2 years.

Im thinking not a 1Dx comparable body but a 5D series type body. I think it will happen before fall 2020

Thank you for the info.
I managed to contact them (Sun Studios) two days ago.
Since I am a CPS Gold member I received a discount on the $11,200.00 offer.

A benefit being a CPS member.

Looking forward to the delivery of this camera.
