Canon 100-400mm Ver. 2

I purchased this lens several months ago from a private party here in Los Angeles for a trip to Costa Rica. In thinking about it I've decided I don't really need this for the long-term as I'm not really a "birding" person. I currently also own a Canon 70-200mm f/2.8 IS II which is far and away my favorite lens. I've decided to sell the 100-400mm. If and when I take another trip requiring longer reach I'll just borrow my daughters 70-300mm L or rent a 400mm.

Am putting this lens up for sale at $1,125.00.

1. As best as I can tell it is in impeccable condition and I'll rate this 9/10.
   
2. I cannot find any blemishes or scratches on the lens itself.
   
3. The "ring" has some small blemishes but that is very much magnified. When I inspected the ring prior to photographing I saw no marks so with the naked eye you really have to struggle to notice those.
   
4. Included in the sale with the lens are: Original Box; Original Case (with strap); Original Lens Hood; Both Caps.

1. In additional to the cost of the lens, Buyer pays 3.0% Paypal fee.
   
2. Buyer also pays $20.00 to cover shipping & insurance costs. I know the shipping along with insurance will cost me $30 to $40 so whatever that difference is I will cover.
   
3. I typically ship 3 to 5 days after receipt of payment. I have a busy work schedule so I cannot "guarantee" to ship it the day after payment. For that reason I like to leave myself some room.
   

Great price on one of the best lenses I've ever owned. I would say GLWS but I don't think it needs any...

I'm going to update this post to indicate that I will also consider a trade for my advertised 100-400mm Ver. II. What I would consider taking in trade would be a Canon 300mm f/4 L IS that is not very aged and in pristine condition. Obviously, the trade would be for that lens plus Cash. Thank You.
