For those that have prints done frequently, which printing services are you using and what product(s) do you usually get them to do?

Specifically, I'm looking for a printer that can do like leather bound books (ie. wedding album) as well as individual prints.

Any glowing recommendations for services you've used?

Thanks in advance.

I really like BayPhoto. I've been using them for the last 5 to 6yrs and not once have I had any reason to consider going somewhere else. I've gotten all types of prints from metal, to wood, to canvas and everything has always been top notch. Customer service was excellent the one time I needed it (which was really my own fault for not using a template correctly).

Thanks for the recommendations.

This is not bayphoto or millers specific but I'm pretty new to using printing services. Are there any steps you take to make sure that the prints you order will come out the way you expect? I suppose I'm mainly talking about getting the colors looking right. I probably have this overblown concern that what I order will come out differently than I expect.

Not overblown, just being diligent. BayPhoto has an ICC profile that you can load into Lightroom (and I assume other editors) that you can use when you are using the proof view feature of whatever editor you use. It works quite well. Also, BayPhoto charges a very nominal fee if you want one of their technicians to personally color correct an image on their calibrated screens.

I normally use either Meridian Pro or Mpix for my enlargements. Along with normal enlargements, I have also ordered metal prints, canvas prints, metallic paper, and standouts from each service and have always been satisfied. Once Meridian Pro cropped a metal print, but they shipped a replacement quickly, so I was satisfied with their response to the issue.

I have heard lots of good things about BayPhoto, but haven't tried them yet.
