Ta gents. Even after 20 odd years that bowl came past me twice.

It just goes to show that there's always more to learn!:-D

If you are good at joinery Richard then you have one up on me. Joinery meant that you have to do lots of things the same -?

The pandemic has forced me to reinvent myself. So, I started making face masks that have almost come to a halt but my hand bag making business has taken off really well. Here are some of my hand bags made form scratch. Having fun!

These are so nice Renata, as said elsewhere.
They just keep coming.
What else have you to show us?
Glad you posted here, very worthy. :-)

Seem to be following you about!
Not intentional. It happens, ask Charles :-P

Renata, the bags look good. The world also needs compact bags to wear on a belt, for when you want to carry just a few things and keep your hands free, like fanny packs but upscaled for appearance. I made my own. It's not pretty or stylish, though, only practical.

Thank you, Richard. You're always way too kind!
Well, I have a lot of hand bags, face masks and wedding paintings that may not fit this thread but you can always click on the links in my signature to see the latest.
But heck, here is a painting on canvas form a wedding 2 weeks ago. The couple just wanted themselves and the parents in the picture.
The other shot is of my face masks :)
I wish I could show some "regular shots" but I haven't been out a lot. It will come soon!

Thank you, OhLook. I have a lot of other hand bags that you've mentioned but haven't had a chance to shoot them. The demand is crazy and I don't have time to sew, shoot, live etc. I've become a bag tester for some hand bag designers and my life has been crazy busy!
One day, I will I will post an upscale fanny pack!

Renata, your bags are quite something and I'm sure that the painting will be honoured for a very long time. Well done lass, and I don't mean that in any derogatory way. They are lovely. SWMBO makes our masks and I have a length of copper with in some heat shrink tubing in mine too. The wire I use is the earth wire from some 13 amp twin and earth electric cable. Nice and malleable so it fits correctly.

Manny, you must have spent a long time looking through this forum and you seem to have posted likes for most, if not all of my stuff, so thank you!

Your welcome! I truly appreciate art in all its forms. It's a blessing to see such creativity exhibited here, especially in 3-D one of a kind treasures. Thanks for this inspiring thread.

John, thank you for your kind words! Of course I understand the word lass having lived in Australia for along time and have used it a lot myself!
Glad to hear that the wire you use is nice and maleable. That was my biggest challenge until I've found this green floral wire that can be bent a lot and after 1.5 years hasn't broken yet. It retained it's shape beautifully and seals the mask around the nose and eyes. It's 5" long and my prevents my glasses from fogging up!

Excellent John
I like the simple style. Very modern looking
And very innovative.
Shows some Real design features not normally seen, well at east DownUnder :-P

Curious what the timber is
Did you make the door?

It's a safety feature that I came up with. It stops you trapping your fingers in the door -?
