I'm interested because I have the 85mm Otus... Anyway, I don't understand why they made another one whose focal length is only 15mm longer. What am I missing?

Yea, it's only 15mm but if you are on the 100mm side, you are constantly disappointed with your 85mm lens and vice versa. I mean, seriously, you drop almost 5K on a hunk of glass wouldn't you want it to be exactly what you want? Not sure why, but call me JJ.

More compression than 85, but with an easier working distance than a 135. The 100mm FOV paired with a 1.4 aperture is a pretty unique look focalpointsphoto.com
