Now and then I scroll through this site and notice that some members get banned. Some have a "permanent ban" moniker as well. Just curious what kinds of stuff people are doing to get banned.

To get banned you have to something really, really, really bad.

To get permanently banned, you have to do something so incredibly bad the Human mind is not capable of comprehending it, or post spam.

Ohh I see the rules only applies if posting in the Canon Forums

2. By registering and making posts on the Canon Digital Photography Forums, you agree to abide by the Forum Rules of Use, both stated and unstated.

Gotta hurry up being a spamtrolling jerk before that changes  :-D:-D:-D:-D

I am permanently banned. Another user asked how to delete their account. I informed that user to report his post and ask the moderator to delete their account. But, another user who read my advise reported my post and the moderators permanently banned me from the Forum. I know it sounds far fetched, but it is true. For reference, see my title. :-D

First rule of the banned club, is never to speak of the banned club.
Apparently there are all manner of twisted evil members that go out of their way to wind up the moderators for one reason or another.
Rumour has it that it doesn't end well. But you didn't hear it from me, capisce?

some fairly old canon camera stuff, canon lenses, Manfrotto "thingy", and an M5, also an M6 that has had a 720nm filter bolted onto the sensor:
TF posting: here :-)

Clicking on "More Rules" you see the 1st image. (minus the red arrow)

Clicking on the LINK in 1st image, then you see the 2nd image.

I guess there is no rule for posting a larger image from 1600 OR I have no permission to view the content of said rule? ;-)a

Well... I am sure you already know the answer to your question to me. No I did not., because I did not see there was a video to watch. It was not very well marked as a video.

Since I just now watched it, I know the answer to my question to you.
