Ok weird question but here it goes.

I am trying to develop a system or method that'll help stabilize movement as much as possible while filming video without using ridiculously expensive steady cams.

I have a three axes gimbal but my footage is still not super steady specifically in the z axis.

You know how a cat moves when it hunts right? Its legs and body are moving but the head is perfectly leveled to the ground. Whats that movement called anyway?

Is a human body capable of this sort of thing under any circumstances??

Steady head (i.e. no roll, yaw, or pitch).

I don't think proper steady cams are expensive anymore. I operated two of them years ago which were knock off of Steadicam brands. It's probably less expensive than one of your lens.

Conceptually, we can but gravity is working against our puny arms. The problem is our muscle reflex, it's always stiff when there's weight at the other end of the fulcrum. In other words, we don't have a lot of mechanical advantage and required external help, particularly if you try to handheld and gimbal w/ like a 5D
