I had the peak design backpack before but found it too big and bulky for my use. I m looking for something slim that can fit:

1x 14-15" laptop
2xbodies without grip
1xstd length lens
1x70-200
1xflash

Have been looking around but can't find anything that works. Most of the bags are too thick and easy to bump into others in an urban/city environment. Some of the bags have too many outside pockets, easy for someone to steal things from. Any recommendations? Hoping to spend no more than 200USD. I don't even mind buying no name bags from ebay as long as they fit what I need.

How thick do you think you need?

The height of the camera body (a 5DIII = 4.6) plus the laptop thickness and some padding will pretty much dictate the height (thickness of the bag but I don't realistically see that being much less than about 6.5 inches.

If I don’t want to carry my full kit or want to be inconspicuous, I have a messenger bag with Timbuk2 Snoop insert. I put the MBP in a sleeve and the insert holds 2 5DIV’s with lenses and a couple other items. I think that I paid under $150 for everything.

I just realize I have not updated my gear list. No longer shooting 5dIII, currently using Sony mirrorless. Right now I store 2 bodies, 1std and 1 70200 on this shoulder bag with dimension 14.5 in. W x 10.5 in. H x 6.5-7.5 in

But its very heavy on one shoulder and I need to store a 14-15 laptop as well from time to time.

The camera body dimension is 5x3.8x2.9inches. The laptop dimension is 12.72x8.94x0.75inches. Working with these 2 items in mind, hoping the backpack thinness is around 6 inches.

Check carefully, but maybe this... https://www.amazon.com …-Mirrorless/dp/B079JS4FWM (external link)

This may be taller than you have in mind, but it is very thin... as thin as something can be and still hold a standard camera body and lenses. Atlas Athlete. It looks like an ordinary day/hiking pack. It comes in two torso sizes and shouldn't have any trouble holding that gear. https://atlaspacks.com …atlas-athlete-camera-pack (external link)

It isn't cheap, but it is very well made and I find it a very good fit. I have the heavy duty belt for hiking but you might want one of the smaller belt options given urban use.
