Free 2020 Astrophotography Calendar at https://celestron-site-support-files.s3.amazonaws.com …ial_Events_8-5x11_web.pdf (external link).

Telescope manufacturer Celestron has produced a calendar you can download for free. It covers the most important celestial events in 2020. The calendar even comes with a Deep Sky Checklist.

Also, this (https://www.diyphotography.net …ot-the-milky-way-in-2020/ (external link)) might be of interest for shooting the Milky Way.

Thanks, hopefully it will be relevant to the southern hemisphere. I'm finding that knowing your way around the camera is the easy part.. learning astronomy is somewhat more involved ....

Gear List:

Looking at the events on the calendar, they are more astronomical-centric and not hemisphere-centric. A super moon is a super moon and an eclipse is an eclipse.

Not sure why, but call me JJ.
I used to hate math but then I realised decimals have a point.

I was thinking it was a long-range weather forecast for me. No matter where I am, it will be cloudy/hazy/smoky whenever one of the things happen in those calendars.
