I picked up an absolute mint copy of this gem of a lens and its incredible on the MkIII. Its killer on the R5 too. This may be the sharpest zoom lens I've ever seen. Cant wait to get down to the river this weekend and chase some Ospreys around.

Enjoy David. Its my go to lens for sports and wildlife these days. Very versatile. Bit heavy to handhold initially, but you get used to it. Great acquisition.

I'm lucky to have the Blue Angels home port here in Pensacola. The Naval Aviation Museum has a section of ramp adjacent to the runway roped off so we can come out and watch up close. When they are flying its handheld all the way. When they are on the ground I use a loose ball head on a tripod for some extra stability.

Spent Memorial Day weekend in St Petersburg FL. I was brave and took my Mark III and Sigma 150-600 Tele on my first morning walk and was surprised with my captures using it as a 'walk-around' lens :). So I followed up the next day with my Canon 70-200.

Very nice looking copy. I regret selling mine, I was using my 400mm f2.8 III so much that it was not seeing any use so I sold it. It is a great lens.

Morning All,

Back at this past weekend at Harewood Speed Hillclimb, it was a good job the venue is high up and open as it was a scorcher. Surprisingly heat haze was not an issue.
