It was a cage dive and quite save

Well, very nice photo.
Must be quite exhilarating to watch.
Trust it wasn't too dangerous.
Don't they have a liking for humans?
We lose too many to sharks

Great shot, definitely agree that it would be exciting. Do disagree that we lose too many people to sharks, would argue that we lose too many sharks...

Brattinia1221 I don't disagree on losing too many sharks. That wasn't my inference.
My comment is in relation to humans lost through shark attacks here in Australia. We lost a person last week. Mauled swimming and died a quick death.
They share the same swimming space.

Some here want culls. Mostly those who survive shark mauling here disagree. It's their sea which we chose to swim in.
I agree.
Many, most, Humans seem to have complete disregard for our wild animals and invade their territory then call for their control.

Maybe where you are from you don't experience the lost loved ones we do here far too prevalently whilst swimming the oceans around us.

"Scientists have so far identified that 26 shark species are prone to bite humans without provocation, although Ms Chapman said the number was likely to be higher.

Of those 26 types of sharks, 22 of them are found in Australian waters — representing 85 per cent of the deadliest species.
"

"over a three-decade period and found there have been 47 deaths in Australia from 501 attacks"

Edit we have lost two more to sharks in last week

Totally understand your stance, Richard. Australia certainly is a hot zone for White sharks and I sympathize for anyone losing someone for any reason. I do also agree on the fact that we as humans choose to put ourselves in situations like that, there needs to be responsibility and respect when doing so, although animals will be animals, and humans will be humans.

Terribly sorry if you are directly affected per your update. Stay safe down there!

Thanks Blake. Not affected directly, but was a couple years ago when a local survived miraculously. She lost heaps of muscle off her legs but thankfully survived and yet she was very quick to echo these comments and plea for no culls.

Ironically the young lad lost other day chose to surf despite pleas to keep out of the water. Some just ignore the calls and this highlights the issues when things go terribly wrong.

According to estimates by the Australian Institute of Marine Science, sharks worldwide kill an average of 10 humans per year, while humans kill an average of 11,417 sharks per HOUR.

Still waiting for the wisdom they promised would be worth getting old for.

Pippan that puts things into perspective.

Another incidence today that is a bit close to home and one where the shark came up out of the water to a kid in a boat. Frightening stuff
Mr Allen told ABC Radio Hobart the family was cleaning flathead on the boat when the attack occurred.

"All of sudden, the shark's leapt clean out of the water and it's grabbed the little boy and pulled him straight in," Mr Allen said.

"But as he's pulled him in, it's obvious the shark's let go.

"The father, with his natural instinct I suppose, has leapt in straight after his son and managed to grab him."

Yeah I heard about that one. Lucky boy. There's been a few lately.

I've been to The Nut, with my family when I was a kid.

Wow, great photo, and I wonder how you felt being next to a white shark? Fear or were you just thinking about how unusual and beautiful nature is? I also sometimes take photos underwater, and recently I dived very deep to photograph the rarest fish. I was surprised by how beautiful the water kingdom is. I have seen similar photos only on depositphotos (external link). At one time, I really dreamed that I would be underwater and take many photos that I would then upload to different platforms and give these photos to friends. Thank you again for sharing this photo with us!
