Hi! I just recently found this forum and so far I love it. There are alot of talented people around here:) I'm still learning alot about photography, and I have devoted myself to soaking up as much as I can. Here is a recnt pic of my youngest. I don't have a lighting system yet, so this was using natural light only. Please, any cc would be great!!:D

This is a rather close cropped monochrome image having 300 x 450 pixels.

The Terrycloth towel makes a nice wrap for your baby.
I took the image into Photoshop and examined it at 300% in order to see what made the eyes look so strange. There is a reflection in the eyes that makes them look very strange. They are acting somewhat as a mirror of the room. That would probably be avoided if there were a reasonably bright light somewhere behind the photographer that would create a catchlight in the eyes.

The exposure is very good. the Terrycloth has good detail and is placed low enough that no detail is being lost anywhere except for that portion in the very top left corner. That region is actually clipping a little.

The pose is very good - the baby certainly is in a good mood and looks curious about what's going on.
