So in various posts and videos on this transmitter, it shows that you can just hit the group button and cycle through the 3 modes. I cannot. When I hit a group button, it only selects that group, or unselects it. I was hoping to be able to just hit the button 2 times to set the group off. It has version 1.0 firmware and I picked this up from Adorama.

Has anyone been using this transmitter? I like this better than my xPro version I, I find it easier to use and it has the pass through flash shoe as well, with BT app support.

This is the unit: https://www.adorama.com/fprrr2tcii.html (external link)

As I remember, only the Xpro II (or R2 pro II) that has that feature, not the X2T (R2 T II)

I see. Thanks for the info. It doesn't work on my X2T too.
I just look at godox reference manual website and I think we have to upgrade to firmware v 1.1 (upgrade list number 3)

Ah, there we go. That would explain it. I tried to find the latest firmware notes and couldn't find them, just wasn't looking in the correct place I guess!

Ok, got it updated and it works now, so yes, you need v1.1 of the firmware.

The installation was a bit of a pain, you have to download two RAR files, one that has the windows software and one has the firmware bin. I had to update 7zip to access the RAR. So 2 things to install, and 3 steps.

Awesome.

Other thing I want is that we can fire only 1 group at a time (flash test) for individual flash
group metering purpose without changing other groups mode to off first.

What I know is that the XProii has that feature but only works on pro version of all strobes (ad600 pro, 400pro, 200pro)
