Although like many of us, I was saddened by Helen's departure from Adorama, I felt it was only fair to relay a positive experience that I had with the new CS Ambassador, Nancy Miller.

My shipment from Adorama (barn door & gels for my Flashpoint 400 Pro) went missing on 1/27/2020. When I realized that the tracking led to a dead-end, I contacted Nancy, and within 2 hours, I had a courteous reply. She offered to immediately refund my money, or send out a re-shipment.
I chose to have them reship the order, and by the next afternoon on 1/28/2020, it was on the way, and I had a tracking number. This time, UPS delivered the package two days later.

I just thought that I should present my positive experience in a new thread. Honestly, I couldn't have asked for a more professional, and timely response from the new customer service representative at Adorama.

Well, that seems to be good news.

After some vague activity here by Nancy, then a disappearance, she wasn't looking to be very adept
in her new role.

Let's hope this bodes well for the new 'ambassador' of Adorama.

Glad I was able to help. I wish these incidents didn't happen but appreciate that you reached out to me to get it fixed.

We don't wish for such incidents to occur either, Nancy, but you must be aware by now
that we've become accustomed to more feedback and transparency by your predecessor.

I, and no doubt many others, would enjoy more of your direct presence within this community,
if only to inform the masses here that you have a vested interest in issues which may surface
in regards to dealings with Adorama. I am not asking you to be Helen's replacement, per say,
but only to request that you be more proactive in your participation within this community.
The previous representative was openy forthcoming with us, publicly, within this open forum.
We have hoped you would do the same.

Such involvement in this public forum should only increase your merit and goodstanding to us.

Thanks, Craig. I'll try to be more visible and on-hand for when anyone needs assistance with Adorama-related issues.

Hi Steve,

Sorry to say we don't have discounts for Veterans. Our military discounts are for Government orders (Federal or Local).
