For this DSP, #597, the topic will be:

Abandon homes or structures.
I'm a sucker for old abandoned structures that the earth and surroundings are starting to reclaim!

The rules:
The challenge begins when posted and will end on Monday, March 2, 2020 at midnight GMT. The winner will be announced shortly after (on Tuesday).

CHALLENGE RULES:

1. Camera: Any DIGITAL CAMERA is allowed, (not just DSLR).
2. Time: Any on-topic photo taken at any time is eligible, although photos that have won other competitions should NOT be entered.
3. Size: See standard P.O.T.N. Image Posting Rules.
4. Post Processing: Do whatever you like and the host will decide if it works.
5. Posting: ONE PHOTO per photographer in each challenge.
6. Details: Show camera model & lens used. Post brief EXIF data including ISO, shutter speed and aperture used.
7. Commenting: Please, NO COMMENTING DURING CHALLENGE. Feel free to comment in this thread after a winner is declared.
8. Content: Keep it clean, and both Family and Work safe.
9. Have questions? PM me.
10. Have FUN!

* THE WINNER ALWAYS SETS THE THEME FOR THE NEXT CHALLENGE, POSTS IT AND JUDGES IT - BE PREPARED! A new challenge should be posted ASAP after you have been declared the winner.

So good luck to everyone, and have fun and be safe!

Chris~

Alright Folks, the contest is closed.
Thank you and congrats to all who entered.......seems a low population in this round of the contest.

Lt. Dave: Love the shape and feel of the old pool, you can almost hear the summertime fun if you listen closely.
Old Crow: While I have never seen the movie, it certainly has it's notoriety!
Hye5: The silhouette says it all! How many customers did that cafe serve? How many working class folks dined there?
Dilorenzo1954: The expanse and grandeur of the church is amazing. I love the pigeons in the stained glass top cross!

And my winners are:
1. Dilorenzo1954
2. Lt. Dave
3. Hye5
4. Old Crow.

Thanks to all who participated! Great captures!

Dilorenzo, take it away!!!!!!!

Congrats to Ed, great shot. Chris, thank you for the challenge, abandoned always brings out the best shots! Sadly I had nothing to enter but I enjoyed seeing what the others had to share. :-)
