I finally nailed one. I pre-focus and then hope that the motordrive gets them in the zone of focus. In order to get multiple tries at the little guys I set up a "studio" I had cut down a birch tree and took the center part and planted it within jumping range of the bird feeders. I have another branch on the main feeders so they have to jump to that and then from there to the "house" feeder. If the house feeder is turned towards the stump they jump directly there other wise they can't make it that way.

It is amazing how many of the shots are before or after the DOF
