WORLDWIDE PHOTO WEEK: Part 701 - From My Window

Every week we select a new theme, and then go out and shoot that theme. This week the theme is From My Window. As always be as imaginative/creative as you like when interpreting the theme, creativity is what we're looking for.


Show us what's outside your window, or what you can see from your window...

Here are the rules:
1. Shots need to be taken between Tuesday, after the new theme is posted and the following Monday by sunset (Whenever that is for you). Because this activity is supposed to encourage us to get out and shoot, please don't post old shots from your archives. Snapshots and art are equally welcome -- just get out & shoot, and then share!
2. Post your shots at any time during the week.
3. Post a maximum of two shots if you're uploading them to POTN (i.e., attaching them). You can post more than two if you're linking to shots that are not hosted by POTN (i.e. embedding them) but keep within POTN rules. Also keep within POTN rules about size. My office window doesn't have much of a view. It overlooks the dog run and the fence behind the house.

I had a great view in my corner office at the college, but before that I had an office without windows. It all balances out in the end.

The best view out of windows in this house are in the kitchen, but I need to wash the windows before I can take that shot.

I remember that view from your office.. You took some nice shots from there!

Scene from my den window looking out over the back yard. I had to get on the window to eliminate the screen blur.

You can see some of our 'neighbors' off in the distance. They are generally very quiet but sometimes smelly if the wind is blowing just right.

Taken from my car window. . It got warm this week, and all the snow here in town melted away, so I had to drive about an hour north, up into higher elevation, to find the snow and ice that I love so much.

I can't imagine anyone thinking there ever would be a lifeguard here in this shallow, muddy cattail marsh. . I don't now if the sign was installed as a joke, or if many years ago the area had been dredged and maintained as a swimming hole.

This morning through the kitchen window. Just to the right of the daffodils I saw this guy doing a number on a dead tree.

You all have much nicer views out your windows than I do. Well, maybe not the brick wall 3 ft away, but not much better than that

so, from my SUV window when I got out for a little sunshine. Still in recovery mode.

Nothing exciting but just a lovely hydrangea I bought and the moon

It is windy and now raining.. which is a good thing. This is a Tibetan bell, a gift that keeps on ringing. A really spectacular ping
