It is mating season, lots of activity as males spare and then got some shots of the "bedroom"

One of the greatest benefits to shooting waterfowl during courtship & mating season is that the birds' plumage is at it's fullest and most colorful. . Birds at this time of year - particularly drakes - look so much better than they do in the autumn.
