As a long time NIK user (pre-Google), I upgraded to the Google version when they offered it for free. I have been using it and other then the inconvenience of having to re-install it occasionally when Photoshop updates, it's worked flawlessly... Until now.

After the last update, I didn't re-install NIK until I last night. It installed perfectly (I thought) but when I bring up CC, I get a message indicating one or more plug-ins are not available. When I edit a picture I see the Nik collection and am able to select any of the filters, work the image like normal but when I click ok to apply the filter, the filter is never applied. I see the selection in the history window but the new layer is not created. I also looked at the Sys-info log and this little gem is burried deep in the log. It looks like it installed everything fine, then complains that it didn't install almost like it was in there twice. I have a snipped of the log below.

Before un-installing everything and re-installing, I thought I would ask the brain trust if anyone has had a similar issue and what the resolution was.

From the Sys-Info log. BTW, I asm running the 64bit CC and do not have the 32bit installed (if it even exists anymore) It looks like the 64bit is fine but the 32bit fails?

Optional and third party plug-ins:

Analog Efex Pro 2 2.0.12.12 - from the file “C:\Program Files\Adobe\Adobe Photoshop 2020\Plug-ins\Nik Collection\Analog Efex Pro 2\Analog Efex Pro 2 (64-Bit)\Analog Efex Pro 2.8bf”

Duplicate and Disabled plug-ins: NONE

I edited out all the other filters, but they are all there. Everything looks fine, right? Then I get...

Plug-ins that failed to load:

Analog Efex Pro 2 NO VERSION - - from the file “C:\Program Files\Adobe\Adobe Photoshop 2020\Plug-ins\Nik Collection\Analog Efex Pro 2\Analog Efex Pro 2.8bf”

Not sure why, but call me JJ.
I used to hate math but then I realised decimals have a point.

Found a snarky workaround I think. Seems to work but not pretty. I guess at some point I'm-a-gonna-have-2 spring for the DxO update at some point.

I found that if I apply changes to the current layer, it applies. So, I have to remember to create the new layer, then run the filter. Not pretty but it works, or seems to.
